I'm not sure about the filter at Autozone. I would assume they have them available. But here's my take on filters (boy, I'm just full of opinions today!): I only use factory filters on all my cars. Not because they are better (they may or may not be) but because if there was ever a problem I don't want the dealer to deny a warranty claim based upon the use of a different oil filter. Now I'm not sure if they can or can't - I just don't want the hassle. I would be able to say that I have used nothing but the factory specified oil and a factory filter from day one. I guess I'm just funny that way. There is lots of information about oil & filters on this site and many others but I have just decided to stick w/ factory. I even use the factory filter on my 1978 Alfa; it's just easier that way (and that car has been out of warranty for 25+ years!).
