I would say a resounding YES! It is a driving experience that any driver, of any car, of any age should experience. The skills are essential, and might be life saving. Getting to know ABS, ESP, and handling cars at speed, and under supervision, was so insightful that when my new driver daughter got her license recently, I enrolled her in "Skid School" sponsored here in Massachusetts by the Mass Auto Dealers Assoc. A similar driver training for teens, the essential skills are taught in cars, on the track, and under speed. She had a great respect for control, handling skids, and above all the courses are funnn! Saab did a great job in instruction and entertainment. I have just leased a new 9-5 sport and can't wait to go back for a second time! Thinking of taking the family if space is available!!
