Thanks for the input. I know about the new ceramic Akebono pads on the ’06 models, however if you read posts the 2006’s still have the old dusty pads on the rears. New owners are complaining about the rear wheels turning black.

I have been in touch with Akebono's sales team and they were supposed to release a full set of aftermarket ceramic brake pads for the 9-3 but they are not ready. I wanted the same pads all around and EBC seemed like a safe bet.

I have heard a mixed review of EBC on this board, mostly positive. I’m going to use both EBC Greenstuff pads and EBC Sport rotors, I hope to get good performance and low dust.
