I have an '04 Linear sedan bought new with just over 58,000 miles. It is our first Saab and I LOVE it!

As others have already said; great performance, excellent fuel economy (can run on Regular gas, 87 octane gas) and has some of the nicest seats ever! Extremely comfortable on trips and loves the twisties. It's very well built and has held up very well. Our 9-3 has proven to be an excellent value for the money and is simply a blast to drive.

I guess the only thing I would recommend in purchasing a newer one is to avoid the 150W stereo... splurge for the 300W system.

Other than that, my complaints with our car are very minor and, from what I've read, have been completely resolved in the more recent model years.

It also has helped that we have an EXCELLENT Saab dealer to work with. I can't understate how big a differrence that has made in our ownership experience.

Bottom line is we plan on replacing this car with another Saab - probably a 9-5 because we need more backseat legroom with our growing family.

Anyway, I highly recommend the car - drive one and you'll be hooked, no question about it!
