What type of rear pads did you get? The OEM pads and a few aftermarket pads have springs on the edge to keep the pads from rattling around. Some other aftermarket pads just have a spring clip to hold the pads to the piston in the caliper. If you have the latter or if the big spring clips that go on the outside of the caliper are missing, you'll get a rattle. The big clips limit the movement of the caliper and the carrier.
