I have about the same mileage on my '04 Aero (6-speed manual trans.) and have the same situation with the rear brakes. The fronts pads are a bit more than half-way worn, but the rears are almost down to the metal on both sides. And the rotors have a pretty serious lip on them too. Interesting...
FWIW, my father has an '03 Linear with 70k miles, and has yet to replace any of his brake components or tires. And he just had it in to the dealer for service and they said they were fine.
