Itsa' lose-lose. If you wait until maturity itsa' $2,800 penalty. If you trade now it seems to be about the same. You quoted your end of term buyout, but what's the payoff now? It should be your end of term buyout plus any remaining payments. I figure you car's worth an honest $10k ish in trade, even with the higher miles it's still certifiable.

Why do you wanna' go into another used one? The payments would be about the same on a brand new one on a lease, but this time plug in a realistic mileage allowance.

Also if you roll the negative into a lease instead of a purchase, you're done with it that much faster.

Just buying out the car at the end will be the cheapest, but you'll instantly be buried the $2,800 plus the tax and license.
