Few other things... Wind noise seems greatly reduced in the '06 9-3 SC compared to the '01 9-3 SE. We don't have roof racks on the SC (which would make noise) and I believe the updated SC design is cleaner aerodynamically. The SC sunroof does have a buffeting effect at certain speeds... Don't like the 'clunk' noise the '01 SE trunk makes when you press the remote to open the trunk but the absence of any noise when pressing the button to open the SC lid means we usually press the button, fail to unlock the lid, and have to do it again. Annoying... Rear windows actually retract almost all the way into the door on the '06 SC... Love the dual climate controls on the '06SC since my wife and I can never agree on the right temp... Forward visibility on the '06 SC seems improved -- not quite as narrow a field of vision as through the '01 SE's windshield... Love the enhanced Saab safety devices on the '06 SC, especially ESP and side curtain airbags... GM set up an anal oil specification for the '06 so availabilty of spec oil is greatly reduced.

All in all, the 2006 is a much improved vehicle except for the busy dash.
