I had the same concerns with my 06 when new. For the first 3k or so I would get a horrible shake when braking at high highway speeds 75+ but at 55 the shake would stop. dealer stated there was nothing wrong but that they would not drive the car at high speeds to verify. My next concerns were with a rather metalic sound the brakes make and again I was told this is normal for Saab brakes. I now have 12K on the car and get a slight shudder in steering at 40-50 mph when applying brakes lightly. if I run them in like Mike suggests the problem seems to go away for a while but returns after a car wash or driving through rain making me think of warped rotors. Again I am told this is how saab brakes feel all is AOK and that the brakes show very little wear for their age.
