Hi Mark, thanks so much for taking the time to reply with such detail. I will certainly try some of those techniques. I don't mean to sound like a broken record - and I do enjoy my Saab - but my main frustration comes from the fact that I paid 30K for a car and it squeaks and groans after 5,000 miles. I understand your Audi correlation but you can get an Audi for 30K :-). The irony is that I am out here on the Pacific Northwest (I live in Boston) and for the last week I have a rental car that was the same car I owned before the Saab - a Mazda3. It's a 16K car. It has 10K miles on it and not a squeak, rattle, or groan to be heard. It feels 10X more solid than the Saab. Granted, it doesn't come close to the Saab in terms of bells and whistles or power but it's solid and handles like a dream. Ugh, that's life I guess. If the Saab could just feel like a solid car and worth the 30k then I would be a very happy man. The car is slowly growing on me and I do miss it now that I've been without it for over a week and won't get back into it until the 24th.......but I am not in love (yet). Maybe I am trying too hard!!! Thanks everyone.
