I agree that the new 9-3 looks in line with the previous 9-3 models and that the previous post is a little misguided. However, it is apparent that many of the little details have the look and feel of GM (i.e. the stereo, climate system, etc...). Also, how many previous models of Saab had a V-6? To the best of my knowledge just one... and that did not work out so well, hence the V-4 since then. Why in the past year or so has Saab gone to a V-6? It is nice to have the power, but negates the idea of turbo/V-4 efficiency. The Subaru legacy mention was based on the all wheel drive system in the new 9-3. I was unsure if that was a product of the former relationship with Fuji. I understand that the relationship is no more, but i am sorry to have confused the issue. I mean, saab would not try and slip a car into the line that was not their own (9-7, 9-2).
