Mike Lynch can probably answer this better but, I'll give it a shot.
Marketing Support is given to the dealer, not the customer. It is at the dealers discretion as to whether they pass it onto the customer. I suspect some dealers may pass a portion of it to the customer if it means making a sale. Customer Cash, Owner Loyalty, or other Incentives/Rebates are to be automatically given to the customer.
I recall Mike mentioning in another post that if the money (Incentive, Rebate, Marketing Support, etc) is made public, then it is to be given to the customer. I suspect this is only the case if Saab announces the Marketing Support, not someone like Edmond's, or kbb. In other words, if it is on the Saab website, you the customer are entitled to it (assuming you qualify) but if it's not there on the Saab site, you may or may not get it. (Am I correct Mike?)
That said, you know it's out there, go ask your dealer. If they don't want to part with it make a few calls. I suspect there is a dealer that will give you most, if not all of it if they are hungry for a sale. Doesn't hurt to ask and it doesn't hurt to shop around. Just remember that your dealer needs to make _some_ money on the sale so they are there for you later when you need service work performed. The amount they make is decided by them, and either accepted or rejected by you. I suggest being reasonable and at least giving them the opportunity to make the sale (no harm in calling around for the best deal and see if your local dealer can match or come reasonably close to it).
