I had the traditional creaks and rattles in my 06 Aero SS and luckily have a great Saab dealer that fixed ALL of them on the first visit. And I am guilty for sharing your views and accepting the Saab shortcomings. But listen to what you are saying...buying a $30-$50,000 car and you expect rattles and that is part of the experience? For a 10% premium (maybe), in this price range, it is nothing. If I wanted a Saab experience for less money, I would look to Toyota or Chevrolet.
GM should take the Saab name off their cars and come up with a new Euro-Value brand and price it accordingly...maybe a trade-up from the Smart or the MINI. Both brands are rock solid and amazing luxurious...no compromises.
As long as Saab has customers like you, they will continue to ignore the changes that need to be made (I mean no disrespect, but you are just satisfied with less or the romance of having a longtime loyalty for a brand). I am just offering an opinion that had I listened to from past posters, I would have driven and bought a BMW a lot sooner.
