Ok, I took my '04 9-3 in to get a couple things taken care of before the warranty expires. While dropping it off, I asked to get a quote on the 45k service it was about to be due for.

Upon picking it up, they told me everything had been fixed under warranty, including service. The tech said, yeah, the 45k was covered under warranty. They then double-checked and said "that doesnt seem right" and then told me that I'd have to pay for the 45k. I got the car and drove off, with them saying they'd talk to me about it later.

So my question is, what's might rights here? I didnt ask for or approve the 45k service. They never gave me a quote and gave me the car back. Am I legally beholden to the work that was done or do I have a recourse?
