A lot depends on where you're located. Some places have fairly strong consumer protection laws, some not so strong.
I would expect that generally, you would have a defense for "bait and switch" tactics if the dealer took aggressive action against you. The fact that you have your car is a big advantage.
I would also expect that the general rule is that unauthorized service is kind of like a "gift."
Also, some places may have some agencies (a government office) or bar associations (sometimes voluntary) or even law schools (clinics) that could give you a better reading depending on the rules where you live.
Also, make sure you keep your paperwork. I, for one, feel a little uncomfortable when the dealer has me "sign off" and they keep the paperwork, but my car's a 2008 so it has both warranty and free service for now.
Keep in mind, working things out is better than making enemies. You don't necessarily want the dealer to refuse to service your vehicle when you need it, so consider whether you want to write them a letter (if you have the paperwork in order and are comfortable doing so).
