I really don't understand the purpose of your post, nor the real reasons for your apparent depression. If the US Saab dealer network disappears tomorrow, are you really afraid you will be unable to continue driving your car for the lack of spare parts and/or trained mechanics?
As to the eBay sale, are your trying to preemptively unload your 9-3 because you really think GM's possible sale of Saab will diminish your car's resale value even further - like trying to dump a stock that is about to become worthless during a Chapter 11?
Towards that end, did you honestly purchase your Saab because you believed it would maintain a high resale value?
I really just don't get where you are coming from.
One word of advice - stop worrying so much and enjoy the darn thing - any and every car made today is a depreciating asset - enjoy it as much as you can while it still works. And if Saab goes out of business, and Saabs one by one disappear from American roads, you can one day boast that you once owned something unique - much like the old timers in my day spoke fondly of their rustbucket Studebakers, Packards etc.
