'06 2.0T 5-speed CV, just like the '05 Aero but with less stuff and softer springs:
Highway: Clean (top up), minimal weight, no a/c, mild weather, Tires inflated to 38 psi, keeping to the speed limits and driving economically: 37 mpg.
All around highway and city driving in Tampa Bay (but not so much the stop and go part) - 30 mpg.
A V-6 with automatic in city driving would be hard pressed to do better than 20. V-6 Sport Combi (similar CD, lighter weight than the CV) with manual shift on highway driving (in such a way as to accumulate a speeding ticket): 27 mpg (per a friend).
