This is not something that can't be fixed just like that over the internet.
I'm just wondering what could have made the mechanic think and feel that the turbo was gone and that it would create a stalling problem like yours.
The oil leak I believe is the vacuum pump seal to cylinder head. I have starting to see those o-rings leak on many cars by now.
It also sounds very strange to me that your car died while driving and that the battery was dead and that it was enough to just jump start the car and you could keep on driving.
It just doesn't make sense since if the alternator would have died and you drove the car until the battery was depleted and engine die from that. A jump start would only have started the engine for a minute or less and then the dead alternator and dead battery would have made the engine stall again.
I'm wondering if it is any fault codes anywhere and if the Saab mechanic listed any on the invoice.
I would also take a good look at battery and make sure it is healthy and maybe even put a new one in to be sure and then check both battery cables in both ends to make sure they are clean and tight.
