When your front springs where changed, did they install the updated zinc plate to aid with corrosion/failure of the new front springs? If not, install them this time.
The front takes struts and would have been easiest to replace when the springs were changed. While in there, also replace the top strut plate/mount, bellow with bump stop and strut mount bearing on the front. Good time to replace the rear shocks as well.
I recommend OEM Saab (Sachs/Boge). Good compromise between comfort and handling.
