Sounds like the typical failure for the 284 coil, under higher boost levels. I always just change all 6 along with plugs (which you recently had done so no need). The prices of the coils use to be $350ea+ but just checked the Saab pn 12629037 in the December sheets and shows $92.40ea. Unsure on Wells brand, but would suggest to stick with OEM Bosch Saab coils. Its an expensive engine to make repairs on, not worth chancing failure.
See at least one b284 engine needing coils per month or two here in FL.
The OBD scanner is only good if the misfire is constant enough to set a DTC. If only under boost for short bursts it probably will not set the codes. be sure to get repaired asap, as misfires will cause catalytic converter damage over time.
