I would start with installing a new or known good battery instead of the one that is in there and then see if you have a problem after that.
It sounds like a battery gone down maybe by keeping the doors open when they cleaned out the car.
It is many cases where today's batteries die instantly with no forewarning so it is no use trying to find another source for the problem until a new battery has been tested with.
A modern Saab 9-3 with a shorted out battery cannot be jump started.
