Hello,
Yes you may want to fix the outside temp sensor. It can cause the ac compressor to not come on. The harness for the temp sensor can easily be damaged. And the low location of the sensor itself can make it an easy target for debris.
Would have to check at work on the location of the pressure switch on the v6. On the 4 cylinder it is located on the ac line by the air filter housing inward towards the engine. Good Luck, Bernie
