Ride quality on Ziex or Toyos?

As I get close to the end of my S03's I'm looking for tire recs that might offer decent performance but better ride quality than the S03's. I would never knock the stickiness of the S03's, but I'm pretty sure they've contributed to making a harsh ride harsher with the Viggen. Even lowering the PSI (I have the BBS RK wheels so not as worried about bending them) does not result in much improvement in the ride because the sidewalls are so stiff. I don't drive at the limits enough to justify the sacrifice in comfort.
Other tires I'm considering in the 225/45-17 size are the Pzero Neros or the Michelin Pilot Sport or Michelin Pilot Sport2 (tirerack has 'em).
I had the Toyo Proxes 1S on my '98 900SET and liked them and never noticed a harshness to the ride, but then again those were 16" wheels. Apples and oranges.
Thanks,
John
