Squeaky brakes...

From personal experience, I know the 9-5 model's brakes are very sensitive to proper wheel lug torque. Excessive tightening of the wheel lugs will guarantee you annoying brake squeal with almost every stop. If your wheels have been removed and reinstalled since purchase it is quite possible the lugs were over tightened - they may even arrive this way from the factory in rare cases.
Most tire shops and garages use torque sticks, not torque wrenches, if they make any attempt to control wheel lug torque. The sticks don't work nearly as well as a true torque wrench, and a "tech" using an air wrench with no torque limiter to tighten wheel lugs will generate twice the recommended torque. Hello noise!
I am guessing that the 9-3 may share this trait. Assuming this is the problem, you will still need to tolerate the squeal for nearly a month after the lugs are returned to their proper torque. Fortunately, the noise weakens each day until it finally disappears completely.
