Auto transmission Drain Plug Location? Posted by Michael [Email] (#1365) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Michael) on Tue, 6 Jul 2004 11:46:02 In Reply to: Pentosin power steering fluid, JimBlake [Profile/Gallery] , Tue, 6 Jul 2004 07:59:21 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have a 2001 9-3 ---
I was looking at the transmission yesterday, and assessing how easy a fluid change would be for a DIY.
I noticed a rather large "bolt" on the side of the transmission (near the bottom)--facing the passenger side--looks fairly easily accessible if that is the right one?
Am I correct.. There is another like "bolt" facing the front on the car on the transmission (again on the side near the bottom)
are these both drain plugs? or have I completely missed it?
Thanks in advance.
