But supplier is still damn good. And a wonderful way to achieve a true no hassle no haggle deal. Was just a tad below invoice, now just a tad over. Know the correct incentive, a dealer who sells a supplier is not obligated to give all the incentive, but most will. The price is right on the invoice, but know the current incentive.
Waiting won't accomplish anything. You get a lower residual and a lower rate and a more generous incentive to compensate to make the payment about the same, so in a sense your biting off more value with a lease at the end of the year, lower rate and lower residual for the same payment. Mid year the buyout will be higher, so the depreciation will be less so rate can be higher for about the same payment.
Right now you can lease a 9-3 Arc for about the same as a 9-3 Linear, as Arcs are what's left and Saab is being extra aggressive.
And an '05 is the almost the same as an '04, some different fringe colors, different option grouping, and nav availibility, but essentially the same car in and out.
I'm curious if you can bail on your 325 lease early and get a 9-3 Arc while the gettin's good. The car would have to be worth more than the residual. Most cars won't accomplish this in today's lease market, but it never hurts to try.
