Hi All.
I'm interested in a fully-integrated handsfree solution for my Nokia cell phone & 2000 Saab 9-3. I've read through all the postings on the site and still have a couple of questions.
- How can I tell if I have the telephone ready (tel 0) or handsfree ready (tel 1) setup in my car?
- If I have the Tel 1 version, can I just attach the Saab wiring harness to Nokia's MCC-7 Mobile Holder wiring (see http://www.nokiausa.com/phones/3590/1,2803,acc:1|accCategory:40,00.html#MCC-7 for the MCC-7) and then mount it on the Saab phone cradle mount? Or do I need to install the whole Nokia Car Kit (Nokia CK-3) as well? (see http://www.nokiausa.com/phones/6590/1,2803,acc:1|accCategory:40,00.html#CK-3 for the CK-3). It would seem to me that if I could figure out the wiring that leaves from the MCC-7 Mobile Holder, it could simply be attached to the Saab wiring harness and then connected.
I'd really love to get this to work... and it seems relatively simple. Any thoughts anyone?
thanks.
