Greetings Everyone: Being new to SAAB, I would appreciate your experienced input in helping me decide which model SAAB would best fit my needs and where and how to locate and purchase such a vehicle. I live in Colorado and drive the mountain roads skiing, etc all year long. Performance driving is a must: corners, accelleration, agressive handling (I drive a '96 Honda Accord Wagon, 5 speed manual, full suspension, special imported high performance Japanees Prelude H22-A motor swap loaded with other performance equipment-it's for sale. It runs strong, and is beautiful- but not like a Saab). I need room for 5 people max (cramped is ok but not great), room for large sports equipment in the back, a roof rack on top. Has to be good on snow and fuel efficient. Reliability is key - a solid model year. Must have a factory warranty or top secondary warranty (any ideas what's best?). Traction control is important. I like 5 speeds, automatics that accellerate with G-Force is Good!!! Ride comfort or luxury are not necessary but appreciated. I will build the car out once warranty expires - ECU chip, etc. Budget - $14K-20K used. I test drove a '00 Viggen (loved it - but concerned about rear seat comfort & space). Have heard about 9-5 Aero Wagen 5 speed and the 9000 Aero HO Hatchback. Appreciate your experienced recommendations. SAABNET IS GREAT. Thanks everyone!
