I drive a 2002 9-3SE. (5-door hatch)
I went with the Evo wheel too(cuz it was cheap, and I needed new tires anyways...)
With the 225x45x17, it fits, but it was very very close. No rubbing that I can hear/feel. However, many people have said that if you lower your car, you WILL have rubbing problems with most tires in this size range!
Also, be prepare to hear more rattles and squeaks if you're upgrading from 16" wheels.
