Newer cars and clutches make lots of people suspicious. Lighter pedal with entirely different take up points, hydrualic linkage vs a cable. It's the stiff pedal that usually means the clutch is worn. The hydraulic linkage adjusts the clutch automatically and modern clutches don't tend to slip until they are totally gone, the clue is the pedal gets stiffer as more and more of the pressure plate springs and fingers are required for dis-engagement.
What you feel is probably normal, but have someone who is familiar with the model year drive the car to be sure.
