And I mean stuff that will make a BIG difference in how it feels/drives.
Its a '99 BTW, and suspension-wise, so far I have done:
-SAS rear sway bar
-MP Perf Steering Clamp and Brace
-17" dual 3 spoke wheels w/ summer performance tires
Have gotten some reccomendations here in the past, but wondering if they make a REALLY big difference...
The steering still feels shaky over bumps and loose at times, what else can I do about that? Front end feels so flexy over bumps. Thats my largest gripe. I drive other people's cars (friend's Honda s2000, brothers VW Jetta GLI 1.8t, etc...) and the steering feels so nice and solid. What would one of the front subframe braces do here? Any help?
As far as handling, would the Eibach Pro Kit springs and shocks make a nice difference in handling? I want this baby buttoned down nicely...but also have to drive on Long Island roads.
I had been considering a 9-5/9-3Aero purchase, but then I see what I'd need to put down for reasonable payments, I don't know if I want to do it. Nothing's wrong with my 9-3. A $3000 C900 turbo second car may be money better spent in my opinion.
