Picked up the car from the dealer on Friday. This is the third visit to have the brake problem addressed. The work order says they “removed pads to apply anti-seize compound and sand”. The sanding process involved burnishing the edges of the pad for reasons that are not clear to me.
Compounding the problem is that they wouldn’t do the “goop and sand” procedure until I went through the formal process of contacting SAAB customer service. That’s ok I suppose but despite repeated calls, SAAB was about two weeks getting back with me.
My request for new brakes was denied by the dealer.
We drove it around town yesterday and it started squealing again.
Oh yeah, it rattles too. Three attempts for that fix as well. Car has but 2600 miles.
