Try these two tricks..... Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] (#81) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Mike Lynch) on Thu, 21 Oct 2004 12:52:56 In Reply to: 2003 Linear stereo, Smith, Tue, 19 Oct 2004 21:17:43 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I normally wouldn't recommend cranking the bass and treble in a good sterero, but perhaps the 9-3 Linear stereo is too bright in the mid-range as cranking the bass and treble all the way up seems to help.
Also from the menu in audio settings, increase the max start volume to "20", this still won't blast you out of the car too far if you do leave it cranked the night before, but I understand that it increases the "gain" of the stereo, whatever that is it seems to help too.
You can listen to a 300 watt 13 speaker setup in the Arc or Aero sedans and determine if the factory upgrade is gonna' be worth it, perhaps not.
Ask this BB again what they've done or do a search.
