TO SAAB Or Not to SAAB

I own a 99 9-3 and 9 9-5. Like both cars alot but prefer the 9-3 as more fun to drive. Drove my mother-in-law's 2004 Audi A-4 3.0 and wow, I suddenly felt like both of my SAABs were rather primitive in all respects. Have been looking at possible replacements to my 99 9-3 but because I desire AWD, another SAAB is not in the cards, so that means BMW, Audi or Volvo. Anyone here favor S40 T5 AWD over the BMW 330 or the Audi 3.0 quattro. Wish GM/SAAB would offer a decent hatch again let alone AWD but then GM seems to take my continued brand loyalty for granted and seems to think I want a FWD sedan that is priced like an AUDI. I mean if I wanted a FWD Sedan priced like an AUDI, why not get an Audi w/o Quattro? Anyone know if the new iterations of the 9-3 will offer AWD or if there is any plan to bring back a real hatch and not a wagon. Afterall if I wanted wagon, I could get an Audi wagon.
