Soldering is easy.
Bypassing electrolytic caps is typically adding a film cap across the electroluytic. The film cap is usually around 10% of the value of the electrolytic. Some will object, but the electrolytics are probably around +/- 20% in value anyways.

Or the electrolytic is simply removed and replaced with a similar value of a film cap.
With the 32.5CF, the covers for the X-over are removed and not used. Caps are bypassed or replaced and the result is wrapped in something soft and insulating, taped and zip tied.
The 03 9-5 is bypassed. I will get replacement caps for both, and will do listening tests with replacement caps on the 04 and the bypassed 03. Will rework the 03 later ofter listening tests.
Wife really wants her 04 to sound as good as my 03, should end up being better than current 03.
