Oil change intervals unchanged in SAAB pressrelease

In the Swedish pressrelease of the 27th this month SAAB states "We emphasize our customers to follow the manual regarding oilchanges and to use full synthetic oil. Two simple measures that can make a big difference in avoiding the problems". As there is no recommendation to change the intervals, only to use full-synth oil, I get the impression that the problem lies with the use of dyno or semi-synth. The same semi-synth recommemded by SAAB dealers for years and used when performing oil changes. At least here in Sweden. How should one interpret that ?
