Tom,
The whole repair run ~$2200 for turbo, transmission drive-shaft seal, and trunk lifters. The ins. company did not pay for replacement of key transceiver nor remote. In total I was $196.00 out of pocket. The dealer trown in the transceiver/not remote and re-programed the cars locks with Tech-II for gratis.
I am quite satisfied with service and happy that I bought the warranty. If the engine fails, I now have the SAAB extended coverage too.
Too bad that I have been changign my own oil on the wagon for ~15K now. I might not have all the records they need to verify the services. I will chack up on it.
Jerzy
PS: I had 92xAreo loaner to play with, nice car but not for me. The 17mth old could not strech her legs in the car-seat behind me. 6-year old kindergardener had to put her backpack inthe trunk as it would not fitt in fron of her. (Both have comfortable space in 95s). A 3800 miles old car had lots of rattles and road noise. Harsh suspenshion and no exchaust sound. It was fun and fast though, ... so close to a ticket fast.....;0)
