I currently own a 00 Aero. My father owns an 02 Allroad. I have driven his car a great deal and much prefer my Aero. With snowtires, my car can do just about everything his does, but with his car, i find it hard to lose traction. We live in the Northeast, and winter driving is a way of life. The Allroad minuses - brakes arent as good, mileage isnt as good, rear seats dont go flat & 60/40 split is more like 40 or nothing if i recall correctly, and the back seat is not very comfortable (minimal leg room). The upsides are, the allwheel drive and at least with his model - 250 hp and the biturbo set up. The Aero can be had in a wagon - so that difference is negligable. If you have any questions, toss me an email and I can do a direct side by side comparison. Maybe I am biased, but I prefer my Saab over his Audi. But his is a solid car, and is making me consider the S4 as a replacement when the time comes.
