low mileage means little; depends on the upkeep and where it was driven. i had a 2001 2.3 lpt 9-5 bought from owner in Houston with 55K that has been nearly trouble free (except for DIC), and a 2001 V6 lease return bought with 23K that was driven in NYC and has been in the shop now 8 times for virtually every known problem (rattles everywhere, sunroof leaks, dic, sid, crankase leaks, gasket leaks, bent wheel, muffler rust). Seems nyc cars are notorious for being driven hard on bad streets. But I love the V6.
i disagree that silver doesn't shine--it is actually luminescent and a thing of beauty when the light is right.
But the charcoal is hot in the summer; I assume you don't have ventilated seats, which takes care of the problem. as do wind shields that lets me crack the windows while my car sits outside.
if you like red, go with it, but i don't think there is any single reason to go with one or the other.
