You shouldn't mess with that screw since it probably will upset the automatic idle system.
It's hard to say what's wrong with your car without looking at it. Todays cars are so much more complicated than years back.
I seem to remember that it is an idle up compensation that can be done with the Tech 2 but I have never used that function myself since I never needed to. Maybe it is something unrelated to the throttle body like a vacuum leak somewhere or a sticking EVAP valve?
Did the dealer reset the limp home mechanism after they reset the fault codes?
When you turn off A/C does the car idle fine at all times?
Maybe it is something wrong with the idle up command from Trionic ECU when the A/C is turned on. The Trionic ECU command a certain RPM increase a split second before the A/C compressor kicks in to meet the higher load that the compressor is placing on the engine.
