I went for 15" steels for winter (Nokian RSI snow tires - absolutely fantastic!) due to eastern MA potholes. The car drove very well, and was totally unstoppable in heavy snowfalls, slush, packed snow, etc. I preferred its snow handling over my Nokian WR-equipped Subaru wagon, actually.
I'm going back to the 16" alloys w/ new Avon M500's this weekend.
