can you believe the size of the rain grooves?
I just changed my winter/summer tires yesterday. Have a pair of new M500's on the rear. I'm sure that I'll receive some grief from listers, but I still have stock Primacy's on the front. Destroyed one tire last fall, put Nokians on a week or two early, figured that I had another summer of life left on a pair of the Michelin's.
I had TireRack direct ship to a local installer from their website. Thought that it was a great deal, on $16 mount/balance, another $1 for new stems. Putting tires on yesterday, noticed that the new stems are longer than they need to be. They (the caps) actually stick out maybe 3/16" beyond the tire. I'll measure overall stem lenght difference from OEM's, call and give little bitch, but don't expect anything to happen. I really don't want them to pull tires off and remount just to replace stems, less they damage rims any. Next time, I'll see if SAAB dealer will mount for me.
