No limited slip, but they did incorporate Traction Control System, TCS to prevent wheelspin and 2002 Aeros all have ESP, Electronic Stability Program, which uses the ABS and TCS hardware and adds yaw sensors and steering wheel sensors to allow the ESP to correct skids and greatly reduce single car accidents.
Not really a DIY job to change the dash, until you've done it once. Not that tough to do you just have to know how.
I thought 2000's had TCS standard, my Aero deos.
