I bid $17.5k...... Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Anyone get Saab Financial to lower the buy out price?, DeanS, Mon, 18 Apr 2005 16:50:22 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
KBB wholesale is $20,000 with 45k miles, I bid $2,500 back or $17.5k as I could really use a decent 2002 9-5 Aero, even if it is a stick. Does it have the xenons and stuff? The xenons, rain sensing wipers and park assist aren't book adds but the xenons really add to the desireablilty.
I checked KBB.com and was surpised to find it in the same range as your Edmunds number. I personally don't think the car is that soft in the market. So $19k ain't too bad for a nice one. I'd be askin' $21,900 for that car on my lot CPO. $19k is still $1k back of wholesale book, not a bad buy for a retail consumer and IMO not that far off wholesale. You certainly shouldn't have any issues allowing your relative to acquire the car for that as it will still be under warranty.
You might get Saab to take less, make 'em an offer and see.
