The owners manuals provide a whole range of options. You can always use something suitable for lower temps than you normally see, but there's no particular reason to. As for the 15W-40 and 20W-50 weights, those are generally conventional oils, which we now know to avoid. In the heavier weights, you're going to see 0/5/10W-40, (if the new Mobil 1 version of 10W-40 ever actually appears on store shelves) and 15W-50.
