oil pan inspect is about $500 of course (engine raise). plus, then probably will leak thereafter. dealer recommended checking smell and feel of oil on dipstick as first check before spending $500. move to Full Synth (0W-40 good choice). maybe even start Full Synth oil changes every 3-4k ILO 5k. also, recommended only use Saab filters. I have always (alternate 5k changes from the dealer 10k) used MANN filters. any reason really need to switch to Saab filter other than warr which since I dont have receipts after 50k and I'm now at 75k.....
Saab filter vs. MANN filter (does MANN actually make Saab's filters?)
