I think that all of the 9-5's were wired for this option. I recently put bluetooth hands free in my 2003 9-5 - mine had Onstar, which I don't use so I simply unplugged it. If you don't have Onstar you should have an open plug behind the radio that accepts the phone harness.
I used Saab part no: 12 801 584 which can be obtained at the dealer for about $19

If you search the board you should see several posts on this. If you don't want to tackle this yourself you should just buy the phone harness and take it to an installer who should easily be able to get the job done for you.
