All 9-5's have the wire harness behind the radio. Cars with ONSTAR use the plug however. I have a car kit for Nokia phones CARK-91 that works beautifully in the car. I installed the kit myself in my 99 in about 1 hr, then transferred it into my 00 a year later in about 30 min.

In the diagram you'll see (PCH-4J) This has wires for constant power, switched power, ground, and radio mute. I don't use the switched power since I sometimes want to charge my phone without the car running.
I connected each of those to the respective wire in the saab harness.
Pin 1 saab harness - constant power supply car kit
Pin 4 saab harness - ground car kit
Pin 5 saab harness - radio mute car kit

(HFM-8) is the microphone. There is a built in mic by the sunroof switch. I took the 2 wires from the saab wire harness and soldered a 1/8" mono phono plug onto it. This plugged into the Nokia car kit insead of the included microphone. The built in mic has the option to be switched to hight/low gain. This requires flipping wires on the microphone itself. I did not have to do this in my install because it was already correct.
Pin 3 saab harness - shell of 1/8" plug
Pin 10 saab harness - tip of 1/8" plug

(HFS-12) is the speaker that comes with the kit. I took the 2 wires from the saab wire harness and soldered a 1/8" mono phono plug onto that. This also plugged into the Nokia car kit instead of the included speaker.
Pin 7 saab harness - tip of 1/8" plug
Pin 8 saab harness - shell of 1/8" plug

(AAC-1) connects to a window-mounted antenna that you will have to buy separatly. I ran the wire down the passengers side underneath the door sills and then up the C-Pillar and put the antenna just next to the high stop lights.

I then bought the SAAB Phone Cradle Mount - very expensive but worth it for a neat appearance.
I mounted the phone cradle (MMC-1) on that, and the control unit (HFU-2) I have under the dash on the driver's side.

If you are familiar with soldering techniques it is very simple to do this, otherwise try to find someone to assist. If you have any other questions with this - let me know.
