The settings seems to be ok. The tensioner pulley is a tad on the tight side but without observing it when engine is running it is hard to judge the "real" position of the tensioner marks.
When a camshaft snaps forward or backwards it is little chance that it damage the valves. The reason for that is that the valvespring applying enough force to rock the camshaft is actually moving into its seat, not toward the piston top.
The chance that the camshaft would build up enough momentum that it would push another valve downwards to hit the piston is quite slim.
So all in all, do you feel it was worth $180.00 in savings (my labor charge to replace all timing pulleys and belt, parts not included). Just kidding, it can be fun tinkering with cars.
I hope the CE light is just some forgotten sensor wire or such.
