I also agree. Just this morning I was doing a three point turn and the car stalled. It was the P/S pump loading the belt. The belt has slipped a couple of times recently when it got wet (the plastic belt protector panel under the engine was mostly removed after an incident with a curb). Once in a right hand turn in a big puddle and another when having the undercarriage sprayed in a car wash. The engine faltered but did not stall and when the belt caught, there was that signature momentary squeal and then all was normal. I am going to have the P/S pump replaced when it comes in as well as the belt protector which they had in stock. I am hoping they had to order the pump as it would be the later model. Thanks again Anders for this info.
